Salem Ayash , a poet from Yemen asked the boy who wanted his Daughter's Hand in Marriage for 1o Lac Likes on Facebook as Dowry.

He said he requested the unusual ‘payment’ before agreeing to let his daughter marry because ‘no-one in Yemen can afford dowries anymore’.The Facebook Page which has been setup on Sunday , has already managed 30,000 Likes.
Salem later added "The Boy can take a Month , a Year or even Two Years to get the requested amount of likes . If I see that he’s worked hard, I’m willing to be flexible to see them happily married."
