Officers find 3 kg gold in Jaipur Airport dustbin:

The Custom officials of the Jaipur city AI (Air India) terminal, on Saturday founded 3 kg of gold in the airports dustbin. 

The dustbin was kept near the washroom at the arrival hall.

The value of the found property with no owner or anyone claiming around have been estimated to be nearly INR Rs. 70 Lac (7 million rs.or $11,373.70).  Since then, the AI officials have been quizzing around the staff and the passengers.

Honhar Singh, deputy commissioner, customs, Jaipur stated "The matter came to light after one of our one of officers saw a packet neatly kept in the dustbin before the immigration counter.", he continues "The packet was taken out by the surveillance team who found gold in it."

The packet was recovered during the immigration check of passengers who came to India from an AI flight from Dubai at 3:55 pm.

He also quoted that "no doubt, the packet was left by a passenger who came in an AI flight from Dubai which arrived at 3:55 pm.".
