On Tuesday Morning A 12-year old boy brought a shotgun to school from a band instrument case, he shot and wounded two of his classmates at his middle school. Officials said he was taken into custody when he shot down the two students and was asked by the teacher to put down the gun.
The injured were a boy and a girl, who study at the Berrendo Middle School, Rosewell, Mexico.
The students were in the gym where they usually hang out before the school starts. According to the Times, it was nearly around 8 A.M. when the Boy took out the gun and started open fire.
The teachers, as sources say, had participated in "active shooter" to handle this type of incidents. A teacher, as quoted by Governer Susana Martinez, walked to the boy andtold him to put down his firearms.
The boy has undergone two surgeries as he suffered injuries to the side og his neck and face.
The identity of the shooter has yet not been revealed as insisted by the officials.
