Adding many Impressions

I was writing  post when I fonded the need to write the pound sign (£),
To my surprise it wan't there on the keyboard , now what do I do????????
I Googled it.
On one of the sites , I found out that you have to press down the alt button on your keyboard press a specific code on the numpad while it is on.
So I did.
£=alt+0163.

Now I have made up a list of a few characters :

alt+0211=Ó
alt+1=☺
alt+2=☻
alt+3=♥
alt+4=♦........
