Man designs and makes videogame to propose to his girlfriend :

All The Lover Boys Out There ......... Listen....If you are  a "One Side-Lover" , can you make a video game just to propose to Her ?
Well , that's what Robert Fink did .

He designed and makes videogame to propose to his girlfriend – then films her playing it
The selection of yes or no on a video-game menu has probably never been as important as it was for one young lady after she was asked for her hand in marriage by a pixellated knight.

Her boyfriend Robert Fink, who had programmed the game along with his friend Ryan, was relieved when his hard worked paid off and she said yes.But that wasn’t before he faced a tense four-and-a-half minutes playing the game, which involved a knight, dungeons and – of course – a princess.

The touching video posted on YouTube shows the future bride settling down to play the game before reaching the final, romantic cut-scene.

The Giant Nottingham Christmas Cake

Chefs have created a giant 18ft (5.5m) by 9ft (2.7ft) Christmas cake that even the hungriest festive eater would struggle to finish by themselves.

The massive yuletide treat was made by ten cooks from Nottingham and weighs an impressive 1,543lb (700kg), with claims it is the biggest ever created in the UK.

The iced fruit cake was on show outside Red World Buffet in Nottingham for a brief period before peckish passers-by tucked into it after being offered a slice.

Chefs have created a giant 18ft (5.5m) by 9ft (2.7ft) Christmas cake that even the hungriest festive eater would struggle to finish by themselves.

‘I’m really pleased with it. I couldn’t have done it without the team. It took three weeks to plan and we’ve worked on it for the last seven days,’ said chef Darshan Choudhari.

Behold, the Cthurkey! A monstrous hybrid of crab, turkey and octopus

The dish is the culinary concoction of Rusty Eulberg, who wanted to ‘do something unique’ for Christmas dinner.

Rusty named the abomination Cthurkey, because his wife is a big fan of Cthulhu – a mythical monster created by horror writer HP Lovecraft. The beast has an octopus-like head with a face of feelers, a scaly body and long, narrow wings.

His method involves roasting a turkey topped with bacon, while cooking the crab and the octopus separately. He then joins the three together to make a feast fit for Frankenstein’s table.

In an additional touch of menace, he serves the dish on an old Nazi platter featuring a Swastika on the bottom – a relic bought by a friend in an old abandoned Lutwaffe base in Germany.

Rusty told Gothamist: ‘The universal reaction was, “Oh my God, I couldn’t eat that”. But each individual piece was cooked separately. All I did was set them together on the plate. It was delicious.’

He has diversified the dish to create the Cthicken – squid, crab and chicken – and is also considering other methods of cooking, such as deep-fried Cthurkey

Indian Scientists made "Designer Green Milk"

CFTRI develops 'designer green milk' from plant protein :

The food scientists at Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) in Mysore , India have invented 'designer green milk' that would be launched at the 7th international food convention beginning here tomorrow.
The Milk Is also been Called The 1.4 Grade Milk
Speaking to newsmen CFTRI Director Prof Ram Rashashekhara said the green milk could be used as a meal and food in the future.

"The milk is derived by plants sources and it will be in white colour. More innovation will also be taken up on this to improve the product," he said.

The Green Milk is made out of morning' soluble protein, portulca, leafy oils, chicory, mushroom and chiaoncimum as emulsifier, all leaf and plant based edible products.

Explaining the technology in developing the 'non cow' product, he said the institute had developed the product after a 16-month long research process. The milk was also called as '1.4 grade'.

The milk could be as good as the milk from the cow, besides it offered very good nutrition at the same cost, he added.

The new technology was ready and would soon be released for mass production by interested persons including companies. It could be consumed by people of all ages including young and senior citizens.

The shelf life of the milk was equal to the normal life of cow milk and it could be kept in refrigerator for five days.

However, the milk should be boiled only onece. CFTRI was also developing technology for converting the Green Milk into milk powder, he added.

The Institute had sought permission from the union government besides approval from the Food Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) for launching of new technology. The technology would be marketed by CFTRI itself.

Samples of green milk will be available in the Expo.

The New Age Humanoids Are Here

    The Humanoids are Here :

The Walking , Climbing , Driving Robots of the DARC  ,

It’s entirely possible that the DARPA Robotics Challenge (DRC) will be a complete mess. The goal of this two-year Pentagon-funded competition is beyond ambitious—to develop robotic first responders, able to operate in Fukushima-like situations, human-centric environments that have become disaster zones too lethal for humans. But so far, the competition has occurred almost entirely out of sight, as teams around the world build and test sophisticated robots in labs, and with simulation software. The first competitive event in the DRC, a simulator-only event called the Virtual Robotics Challenge, played out this past summer with little fanfare or attention. The VRC was a qualifier, of sorts, to determine which teams would be able to use one of seven Atlas robots (built by Boston Dynamics and paid for by DARPA). On December 20th and 21st the DRC will begin in earnest, with the physical trials being held at the Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida.

Again, it could be a disaster. As more than a dozen robots make their mostly autonomous way across an obstacle course, attempting a series of eight tasks that range from the merely challenging (traversing rough terrain) to the potentially ridiculous (driving a Polaris utility vehicle),  failure isn’t an option—it’s an inevitability.  Motors will fail, actuators will break, and control algorithms will send machines lurching off-target or off-mission.
It’s the potential for disaster that makes the DRC so exciting. Will anyone complete all eight tasks? Will the competition end in wreckage? And even if this week’s trials are nothing but synthetic slapstick, redemption is just a year away—the best-performing teams will proceed to the finals in December 2014 and its top prize of $2M, where the tasks will be even harder, and many of the bots will be upgraded.

Scotland Yard Declines To Re-Open DIANA Case

Police Decline to Re -open Diana Death Case

London : London's police force said Tuesday there is "no credible evidence"  that British special forces were involved in the deaths of Princess Diana and her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed and it will not reopen the investigation.

Scotland Yard has been looking into claims that the SAS had played a role. It conducted a "scoping exercise" to assess the credibility of the information and decided whether it warranted reopening the criminal investigation, and police said they were given unprecedented access to British special forces records.
"Every reasonable line of inquiry was objectively pursued in order to fully evaluate any potential evidence," police said in a statement Tuesday. "There is no credible evidence to support a theory that such claims had any basis in fact."
The claims, widely reported in the British media, were made by an ex-SAS member identified only as Soldier N.
Diana, Dodi and their driver, Henri Paul, died in a car accident in Paris on August 31, 1997.
A jury for the inquest into the deaths of Diana and Dodi Fayed returned a verdict in April 2008 saying that "the people's princess" and her boyfriend were unlawfully killed, saying the car's driver and paparazzi share blame for the deaths.
Simon McKay, a lawyer for Fayed's father, Mohamed al Fayed, said his client was disappointed by the decision not to reopen the criminal investigation.
Mohamed al Fayed had accused Prince Philip, the queen's husband, of directing a complicated conspiracy that resulted in the couple's car slamming into a concrete pier at high speed in an underpass in Paris.

The Navaratnas

                  Great Mughal Emperor Akbar's Navaratnas

The Mughal ruler Akbar, despite his illiteracy, was a great lover of the artists and intellectuals. His passion for      knowledge and interest in learning from great minds led him to attract men of genius to his court, known as          the nine courtiers of Emperor Akbar or Navratnas.

 1. Abu'l-Fazl :

The Author of Shaikh Abu al-Fazal ibn Mubarak (Persianابو الفضل‎) also known as Abu'l-FazlAbu'l Fadl and Abu'l-Fadl 'Allami (January 14, 1551 – August 12, 1602) was the vizier of the great Mughalemperor Akbar, and author of the Akbarnama, the official history of Akbar's reign in three volumes, (the third volume is known as the Ain-i-Akbari) and a Persian translation of the Bible.[1] He was also the brother of Faizi, the poet laureate of emperor Akbar.

2. Birbal :

Birbal (Hindustani: [birbəl]; born Mahesh Das; 1528–1586) or more accurately Rajah Birbar, was a Hindu advisor in the court of the Mughal emperor Akbar during his rule in India and is mostly remembered in folk tales, which focus on his wit. He belonged to the Brahmin class and was appointed by the Emperor as a poet and singer around 1556–1562, later formed a close association with him, becoming an important advisor and soon being sent on military expeditions despite having no previous background.

3. Miyaan Tansen :

Mian Tansen (born 1493 or 1506 as Ramtanu Pandey – died 1586 or 1589 as Mian Tansen; also named Mohammad Ata Khan) was a prominent Indian classical music composer, musician and vocalist, known for a large number of compositions, and also an instrumentalist who popularized and improved the plucked rabab (of Central Asian origin). He was among the Navaratnas (nine jewels) at the court of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Akbar gave him the title Mian, an honorific, meaning learned man.

4. Raja Man Singh :

Man Singh (Man Singh I) (December 21, 1550 – July 6, 1614) was the Kacchwaha King of Amber, a state later known as Jaipur. He was a trusted general of the Mughal emperor Akbar, who included him among the Navaratnas, or the 9(nava) gems(ratna) of the royal court. Akbar  was his Matrimonial Uncle as he was married to Jodha Bai , Man singh's Matrimonial Aunt .

5. Raja Todarmal :

Raja Todar Mal was born in LaharpurUttar Pradesh in a Hindu family, and rose to become the Finance Minister in Akbar's Darbar of the Mughal empire.

6. Shaikh Faizi :

The Elder Brother of ABU'L FAZL . He Translated the LEELAWATI GRANTH in PERSIAN language .

7. Abdul Raheem Khan-e-Khana :

Khanzada Mirza Khan Abdul Rahim Khan-e-Khana (17 December 1556 – 1626) (Hindi: अब्दुल रहीम ख़ान-ए-ख़ाना, Urdu: عبدالرحيم خانخان), also known as Rahim (रहीम, رحیم) was a poet who lived during the rule of Mughal emperor Akbar. Rahim is known for his Hindi couplets and his books on astrology . The village of Khankhana, which is named after him, is located in the Nawanshahr district of the state of Punjab, India.

8. Faqir Aziao - Din :

Faqir Aziao-Din (Faqir means Sage or Ascetic in Urdu) was a mystic and also was a chief ad-visor in akbars court. Akbar regarded his advice in high esteem and included him among the nine gems of his court .He used to give the Emperor Akbar advice on religious matters.

9. Mullah Do-Piyaza

Mullah Do-Piyaza, is a character from the folk tales featuring the Mughal emperor Akbar and the wit of his courtier Birbal. As he too, was known for his wit, he is portrayed as Birbal's rival. While these folk tales originated at the end ofAkbar's reign, Mullah Do-Piyaza's character began to appear later, popularised by writers in the twentieth century. Based on a persian who existed before Akbar, he was Birbal's Muslim counterpart and was like a proponent of orthodoxIslam. Most of the time shown getting the better of both Birbal and Akbar but there are other stories which portray him in poor light.[1]
No contemporary record mentions about Mullah Do-Piyaza, pamphlets on his life and jokes were published in the late 19th century, which were rejected by a modern scholar Hafiz Mahmood Shirani, where he claimed that Mulla Do-Piyaza was a historical personality whose original name was Abdul Momin. He was born in India but left for Iran in 1582. He returned to India after 36 years and died in 1620. His tomb is located in Handia. But his claim was refuted by other modern scholars, who consider Mullah Do-Piyaza to be completely fictional.

be produced where the customers can choose rubies and diamonds to be embedded in the headlights.
Not many details are out about this car yet, but it is purportedly good for 245 mph, and a 0-60 time of 2.7 seconds. Amazingly, this acceleration comes courtesy of a turbocharged
V6, which, compared to some of the mammoth V12s sported by cars on this list, seems positively demure.
If those performance figures don’t jump off the page, don’t worry the Lykan Hypersport has an ace up its sleeve. W Motors didn’t just focus on performance, they have the tech
madness and sheer excess side of hypercars covered. Those handsomely aggressive LED lights are covered in diamonds, and the information about how far over the speed limit you
are going is conveyed by a holographic display.
All I can say is, “Help me Lykan Hypersport, you are my only hope.

Life Would Have Existed on MARS

Martian lake was able to support life for thousands                                               of years

Researchers reported today based on findings from NASA's Curiosity rover that an ancient lake on Mars was capable of supporting life for tens or hundreds of thousands of years, . In March, NASA announced that the lake was once capable of supporting microbial life, but little more was known. Now researchers have shown that the lake existed around 3.5-3.6 billion years ago and actually contained an "Earth-like" environment. "There would have been some snow, maybe ice up in the mountains around the crater rim," John Grotzinger, project scientist for Curiosity, said at a press conference this morning. "It's pretty darn similar to Earth."

The Martian lake would have been around 30 miles long and 3 miles wide, or as Grotzinger puts it, "typical of a small Finger Lake of Upstate New York." The researchers say that liquid water once existed there, and they've previously speculated that it would actually have been drinkable because of its low salinity and neutral acidity level. Actual signs of microbial life haven't been observed, but researchers say that an elemental cocktail that would have supported them was certainly present.
The research was presented at the American Geophysical Union this morning, and was published today as a series of papers in Science. Grotzinger says that the next step is to look further into the presence of organic carbon — something that's present in all life here on Earth. Finding it preserved on Mars might be more difficult than other elements, but it would be an exciting finding if Curiosity can locate it. The rover is now headed to the base of Mount Sharp, where it'll again look for exposed layers of older stone that it can drill into.

Worlds Largest Opal Matrix found in Australia

A behemoth of an Opal Matrix has just been found in the opal fields of South Australia. The stone which is a whoppingly unbelievable 55,000 carats in size is currently in Australia and was found by noted designer Stuart Hughes and his associates.
The opal is about 30 cms in length with a height of 15-20 cms and a 4 cm thickness. Its estimated value is at least 1 million dollars USD. However as far as opals go, this one has set the benchmark which is certainly going to remain for the next few years.

Historically, the largest opal found so far was just 6,100 carats in size.                      The current one is nearly ten times that size. - See more at: http://www.justluxe.com/community/worlds-largest-opal-matrix-found-in-australia_a_1669977.
